  • Short bio

    Peter has more than 40 years of experience ranging from Board, management and consulting roles in mining project feasibility studies, development, banking/finance and due diligence reviews for major mining companies.  He gained this in operations and projects in Australia, USA, China, UK, South Africa, Brasil, Mozambique, Congo and Guinea.  Commercial and contractual negotiations with Joint Ventures, government, financiers and customers are his core expertise.  


    His expertise spans across a range of commodities including iron ore (hematite and magnetite), coal (coking and thermal), gold, phosphate, bauxite, manganese, nickel/cobalt, chromium, lead/zinc, copper, uranium, magnesium, talc and construction materials. Peter has extensive experience in large-scale mining, rail/port/road logistics and contract mining.


    As a Principal Mining Consultant, he specializes in Project management, Scoping, Pre-Feasibility and Feasibility Studies, independent technical reviews and corporate level assignments.
